On behalf of LUTHY MACHINES Company in La Chaux-de-Fonds, I'm glad to welcome you in our 5'000 sq/m showroom where we exhibit permanently about 1'000 machines-tools.

Today I'm happy to introduce you an HAUSER type 3 SMO machine which has been fully overhauled.
This is a jig grinding machine.

To get a perfect geometry first, all slides have been new scrapped. Additionally to obtain a smooth, accurate and easy movement of each axis, their driving systems have been updated.

Even if the basic concept of such a grinder is about 30 years old, his efficiency is still intact.
To be more comfortable on use, we add some helpful functions as for instance RPM and location informations through DRO units.

This machine is just an example beside many others.
